CSCC Solo2 Practice - 01/24/09

Lug Nut Motosports sucked up 1/10 of the spots availble at this weekends Solo2 Practice Event. Multiple team members planned to get together for their first practice of the New Year, but the event did not turn out to be so "planned". Nine members and a few familar faces showed up in unfamilar fashion. Long time member Mike Nyden made a return to Autocrosss in a new Honda S2000s. That was not the only new, Jeremin also appeared in his new S2000 too, and Jake showed up new Tanabe/Nitto Sponsored Infiniti G37S that was not even his! What a way to kick off a "New" Year! We are baaaaaaaack!

5 Cameras, 1 Autocross - 12/14/08

Our team had not yet made a video for 2008, and Larry had not yet run an event for 2008 either. What a perfect excuse to "Take it to the Track"! Lug Nut's Larry Chen, Mike Palero, and Jake Bond got together for our regions last CSCC Solo Championship Event of the year. Larry Notes: "This was the only event I was able to make it to in 2008. Needless to say, I'm hooked again and will be back for 2009!" Check out the five camera video below!

Hot Import Nights - 08/09/08

In a place where the nights are hot, and the women are suppose to be hotter, it was the driving of Jonathan Hartendorp that was on fire! Lug Nut Motorsport's Jon put on a show that was on par with likes of D1 Grand Prix, defeating all in his path in spectacular fashion. End Result? Way to many expensive prizes for one person, and a trophy so big it had all of us wondering how it was going to fit in his car! Jon was not the only one representing the Lug Nut Motorsports. This was another high team turnout event with Ray Diaz making it to the "Final Four" and Chris Placer making it to the "Besto Eighto". See Jon's interview and driving demo below.

"LADY DRIFTER" - 06/03/08

Lug Nut Motosports' Team Member, Kat Tanaka was featured in "Hot Compact & Import" Magazine this past month. We would like to take the time to acknowledge Kat's hard work, and congratulate her for feature. The article can be found on the HCI Magazine Website Just click on the link below.

A Very Nutty Christmas - 12/16/07

Just this past Sunday, Lug Nut Motorsports got together for their 2nd Annual Christmas Party, and this time around it seemed twice as fun. The great thing about being a team of friends is we get to see each other on a regular basis, but with everyone's busy schedule and some times us running in different events, we rarely get to see each other all at the same time. That is what makes this day special, as it gives us a reason to do just that. Nothing beats being with a bunch friends that share a passion for cars and a passion for... well... getting nutty. Thanks again to everyone for everything!

SCNAX CUP 2007 - 10/07/07

Team Lug Nuts defend "The Title" and take 1st Place by 141 seconds at SCNAX CUP 2007! The Most Valuable Driver went to our own Michael Palero and Most Valuable Car went to his Volkswagen GLI! Jonathan Hartendorp was 2nd in line for MVD and Jeremin Choenchavalit was 2nd in line for Fastest Driver of the weekend. Will we see a Threepeat next year, or do Lug Nuts have even crazy plans for 2008?

CarBoy Battle Drift GP USA - LugNuts Sweep!

Lug Nut Motor Sports struggled to get through this event, with many ill events taking place with our cars. But like any real race team, we pulled together to make it happen, and happen it did. Two members came home with Trophies. Jonathan Hartendorp won 2nd place in the D-Modified Class and Michael Palero got 2nd place in the SA-Stock Class. Jacob Bond who won the honorary "You Got Balls" trophy last event, returned this time to get some sliding action on video. Even Mike Eguina ended up making a Cameo Appearance in the end (Reference Hot Version "American Touge 2" DVD). Down load the video below. Right click and "Save Target As". Also, see all the photos here. Thanks to everyone for a great event.

DRIFT BUFFET - 02/03/07

Lug Nut Motorsports returns to Drift Buffet at the Orange Show Fairgrounds in San Bernardino. This event was fun beyond words. The track was great. The staff was great. The food was great. Two videos were made for this event, and both can be downloaded here. The first video is your general Drift Buffet video in all its blaze of smoke and glory. The second is a little "Girls vs Boys" type action. Download the video from the links below. Right click and "Save Target As" to download the videos. You can also see the photos here.

This is the first video of the new year. The Tokyo Auto Salon is really the holy grail of Japanese car tuning. Once again Larry Chen was able to make the trip to get the coverage.
